Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd., popularly known as LMW was established in the year 1962.
LMW today is Multinational Textile Machinery Manufacturer from India and one among the largest companies in the world to produce the entire range of Textile spinning machinery, later diversified successfully into CNC Machine Tools, specialized casting and Value added engineering components.
The production of CNC Machine Tools started in 1988 in collaboration with Mori seiki company Ltd Japan, in a state of the art plant which is one of its kind in India. In 1995 LMW Joint hands with Mikron Switzerland to manufacture CNC universal boring & milling machine.
